Billing Procedure For Radiology, Cardiology, Pathology, And Anesthesiology Services of the medical center's radiologists, cardiologists, pathologists, and anesthesiologists must be billed separately from other hospital charges (Medicare Law, PL 89-87). This means that patients requiring service from our Radiology, Cardiology, Pathology, and/or Anesthesiology Departments will receive separate bills for each of these services. Please understand that you are not being charged twice for the same service. Rather, there will be one bill reflecting physician charges for the professional services of the radiologist, cardiologist, pathologist, and/or anesthesiologist. This includes services such as interpretation and/or evaluation of x-rays or test results, written and oral consultation, and a separate bill reflecting the non-physicians portion of the medical center's charges. This includes equipment, film, supplies, services of technical personnel, etc. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this requirement may cause and thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions about your hospital bill, please contact our Billing Office at 610-378-2350. For questions regarding billing for professional services in radiology, cardiology, pathology, or anesthesiology, you may contact those departments using the following phone numbers:
