The Oncology Team at St. Joseph features a multidisciplinary team of specialists dedicated to cancer diagnosis and innovative treatment. Our Team thrives on collaboration and in coordinating its knowledge, skills and experience to offer the best care possible and, through our affiliation with the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, offering our patients groundbreaking clinical research studies, advanced technology, and an expert team of physicians to support our local doctors.

Dr. Marc Rovito, Medical Director, Medical Oncology

Dr. Rovito is Board Certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. He received his medical degree from Temple University, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where he also completed his hematology and oncology fellowship. He is an Assistant Professor within the Hematology-Oncology Department at Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute. Dr. Rovito is the Cancer Liaison Physician for St. Joseph Medical Center and is an integral part of our cancer program's accreditation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC).

Dr. Leonard Tuanquin, Radiation Oncologist

Leonard Tuanquin, M.D., is a Board Certified radiation oncologist. He received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed his residency in radiation oncology at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, serving as chief resident during his final year of residency. Dr. Tuanquin is an active member of the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute clinical faculty and is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology and the American College of Radiology.
